show I've been working on was finally announced today by Cartoon Network. The image above was drawn by Producer James Tucker.

"Batman isn't going at it alone Laptop Batterythis time! From Warner Bros. Animation comes the latest interpretation of the Batman franchise. Our caped crusader is teamed up with heroes from across the DC Universe, delivering nonstop action and adventures with a touch of comic relief. Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, AquamanAcer Laptop Battery and countless others will get a chance to uphold justice alongside Batman. Though still based in Gotham, Batman will frequently find himself outside city limits, facing situations that are both unfamiliar and exhilarating. The series, consisting of 30-minute episodes, will be produced by James Tucker and Linda M. Steiner -- the team behind Legion of Super Heroes -- and will be executive produced by Sam Register.

Other creators include line producer Amy McKenna, story editor Michael Jelenic and directors Ben Jones, Brandon Vietti and MichaelBTP-44A3 pretty happy with how they came out. I only got to work on this last season, but I feel privileged to have been a part of it. The show goes out with a bang so don't miss it!

The frame grab I posted here was released by WB and just happens to be based on one of my storyboard revisions which is posted beneath it. This pretty much exemplifies the extent of my drawing on the show- crappy little doodles on post-itsBTP-42C1 that are slapped down over the drawings of my storyboard crew. Sometimes I will reboard entire sequences or sometimes I will just redraw a single panel. But because of the difficulties of directing 8 of 13 episodes of a team-based, sci-fi, action show under a strict animation schedule, rarely do I have time to draw anything beyond crude sketches to get the storyboard done (thankfully, this season we had some talented animators at our Korean studios to make us all look good in the aspire 3000 end). I love my job as a director but there are times when it's not artistically satisfying. It makes me crazy that I can't do real, finished art sometimes. I'm hoping this new project I'm on will carry a lighter work load and allow me to get back to doing art to post here.

So we finally got to release some more details The BraveLaptop Battery and the Bold at this year's San Diego Comic Con. Revelations from our Comic Con panel included a list of some of the characters that will be seen in the show as well as which actors have been tapped to play some of them. New artwork has been released and a clip of animation was screened and is now making the rounds on the net.

Response to theAcer Laptop Battery show has been pretty good so far. Our panel was standing room only and everyone seemed to like the early animation we showed. We had some great questions from the crowd and there seemed to be a real interest and enthusiasm for the lighter tone of the show and the silver age, Dick Sprang TravelMate 4000stylings of the show's design. I wish we could have shown more of the footage that's been coming in from our Korean animation studios because it all looks freaking amazing! Rich colors and thick, black line art just make the visuals pop like no other show I've ever TravelMate 290worked on.

The other great thing we're seeing in our early animation is that the tone of the show is working. We all knew going intoBATCL50L this production how careful we would have to be with our treatment of Batman. Time has proven him to be a flexible character that's cable of swinging to great extremes in tone. But there are certain lines you just can't cross with Batman and Brave and the Bold is well within those lines. Balance between comedyBTP-73E1 and drama is handled with care here. While a sense of fun is really coming through in the visuals and the stories, Batman is still coming across as a badass and that's the most important thing

As much as I love my netbook (Aspire One) in its firstAcer Laptop Battery real test in the wild this weekend (while the rest of the country watched the Super Bowl commercials I was stuck waiting in airports) I was reminded that netbooks are still just laptops… laptops with limitations, namely battery life.

But, never fear netbook lovers ASUS has heard your cries for better battery life and their forthcoming ASUS Eee PC 1000HE is rumored toLaptop Battery have a nine hour battery life using so-called Super Hybrid Engine technology.

Now for the reality check: this battery rating is if WiFi is turned off, Bluetooth is off, camera is off and your screen is knocked down to 40% brightness. So, as long as you are launching your netbook in DOS you should totally get a whole day TravelMate 4500worth of tiny computing.

"The ability to charge and discharge batteries in a matter of seconds rather than hours may open up new technological applications and induce lifestyle changes," wrote materials scientists Gerbrand Ceder and Byoungwoo Kang Wednesday in the journal Nature.

In energy storage, there has always been a trade-off between the amount of energy a A42-A3material could store and how quickly you could discharge it. Batteries were pretty good at storing energy (although not nearly as good as oil), but getting energy into and out of them was tough. Ultracapacitors, and their cousins, supercapacitors, can deliver a lot of charge reallyLCBTP03003 quickly, but it takes 20 times more of their materials to store the same energy as a comparable battery.

The new battery material appears to solve that problem by creating a "fast-lane" for ions to move around the lithium iron phosphate material. By applying a special surface coating to the old material, they allow the ions to speed around the battery at rates that are nearly unimaginable.

Rob Farrington of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory抯 Acer Laptop Batteryadvanced vehicle group, called the battery抯 ability to deliver energy "remarkable."

But questions remain. Fast-charging might be convenient, Farrington noted, but it requires running a large amount of current to the battery, which he worried would reduce the battery抯 life.

"High current means lots of heating. If you have high temperatures, you have to ask the question, are you detrimentally affecting the life of the battery?" he said. "The answer is that it抯 going to shorten the life."

The MIT duo抯 Nature paperAspire 1300 only presents data through 50 charge/recharge cycles, but what抯 there is promising: There抯 nearly no drop in capacity.

But as any laptop owner knows, the more charging cycles you go through, the less energy your Laptop Batterystores. The same battery that let you work for three hours a couple years ago only yields an hour-and-a-half at the coffee shop now.

That抯 one place where ultracapacitors are likely to retain their advantage over just about any battery.

"There are a lot of applications where you have to charge or discharge hundreds of times a day and in that, ultracapacitors have a very clear advantage," said Joel Schindall, who is heading a separate MIT research effort to develop carbon nanotube-based ultracapacitors.

Still, ultracap producers, though they抳e madeBTP-ARJ1 inroads in niche markets. have had a hard time coming up with ultracapacitors that store anywhere near as much energy per weight or volume as a lithium-ion battery. Schindall抯 effort made waves in 2006 when the MIT Technology Review raved, "A breakthrough technology is holding forth the promise of charging electronic gadgets in minutes, never having to replace a battery again, and dropping the cost of hybrid cars."

But the effort has "stretched out," Schindall said ?and he抯 not sure when his ultracapacitors will be ready to commercialize.

"I don抰 know whether that will be a week or a month or a year," he said.

Batteries, and all kinds of energy-storage devices, have a notoriously difficult time scaling out of BTP-AQJ1 the laboratory into production. One, A123 Systems, is a U.S. startup that抯 partnering with General Motors on the Chevy Volt抯 battery. The other, Umicore, supplies materials to battery manufacturers across the world.
